THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL THEIR EFFORTS AND DEDICATION TO THE KIDS AND THEIR INDIVIDUAL TRACK PROGRAMS.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE COACHES FOR TEACHING AND GUIDING THEIR ATHLETES AND MAKING TRACK SOMETHING SPECIAL IN ALL THESE YOUNG LIVES.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE PARENTS FOR THEIR INVOLVEMENT AND THEIR SUPPORT AND FOR GETTING THE KIDS TO ALL THE PRACTICES AND MEETS AND THEN STAYING THERE NO MATTER HOW BAD THE WEATHER GOT OR HOW LONG THE MEET MIGHT LAST.

2008 CYO CITY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

WE HAVE FINISHED COMPILING THE RESULTS FROM BOTH THE 5th/6th AND 7th/8th PORTIONS OF THE 2008 CYO CITY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET. THESE RESULTS ARE NOW POSTED ON THIS WEB-SITE - CLICK ON THE RESULTS BUTTON ABOVE.

These reports were delayed by "gremlins" in the meet management software. By way of explanation, the algorithms used to calculate the team scores contained faulty logic which mis-calculated the team scoring whenever one individual athlete on a team scored in three different events (i.e. it did not count the third points earned by this athlete in the team score). I apologize that it took us so long to find this problem.

When viewing the results for the 2008 CYO City Championship Meet, we ask that you ignore the team scores on the last page of the results titled "Individual Scoring" for this meet. To view the correct team scores, please view the results titled "Team Scores" for this meet.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DISTRIBUTING THE REMAINING INDIVIDUAL MEDALS AND RIBBONS AND THE TEAM AWARDS. JOE COORS WILL BE CONTACTING THE COACHES OF TEAMS TO ARRANGE THE DELIVERY / PICK-UP OF THESE ITEMS. NOTE - THIS YEAR WE DECIDED TO NOT GIVE TROPHIES TO THE 1st, 2nd, 3rd PLACE TEAMS - INSTEAD WE ARE AWARDING SCIENCE KITS FOR USE IN THE SCHOOLS FOR THESE TOP FINISHING TEAMS.
